“The task that we are called upon to fulfill is
to contribute to making this world a better place,
for us and for future generations”

Alessandro Mezzalira

Our core values

In our view, being a sustainable company means achieving an ideal balance. It’s a condition that requires work, time and the pursuit of continuous improvement.
We follow this path with strong awareness and the biggest sense of responsibility, for our work and our impact, as a company and as a collective of people.
This is why we prefer to talk about responsibility rather than sustainability.

Our concept of responsibility is based on the principles of:

Innovation

to create better products; better performing and with less impact

Trasparency

in measuring and communicating our impact to all our stakeholders

Interdependence

our planet is a system that can be better and more quickly changed through chain synergies

PLASTIC COMPANY VS RESPONSIBLE COMPANY

We work with plastic, that’s true. But as much as this may seem a clear contradiction, we are convinced that this activity can be compatible with being a responsible company, concerned about the future of our planet and our stakeholders. And precisely because our products are made of plastic, our main objective is to have a sustainable business model.

Our responsibility path follows a broad strategy that includes different actions and projects.

What have we done, and what do we still need to do?
We have changed our name and become a Benefit Company: in our statute, in addition to the object of making a profit, we have added the public and official commitment of a positive impact on society and the biosphere, operating in a sustainable and transparent manner.
We are a multinational company with several manufacturing locations in Europe and commercial locations around the world, and we have also chosen to follow international standards. For this reason, we have joined the United Nations Global Compact.

The Global Compact is an international network that brings together governments, businesses, United Nations agencies, trade unions and civil society organizations, to promote a sustainable global economy, respectful of human and labour rights, environmental protection and fight against corruption.

On 25 September 2015, the United Nations General Assembly, attended by more than 150 leaders from around the world, adopted Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, which consists of 17 objectives – the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
From the Agenda with the 17 objectives identified by the United Nations, we have selected 7 that are fundamental to us. Thanks to our commitment, to date we have already contributed to some of them, and in the future we will devote ourselves to others.

ENVIRONMENT

We are committed to creating cutting-edge products, making available to the world the best and most performing technological innovations in the liquid transportation sector: perhaps one of the greatest achievements of mankind, which has expanded today to all aspects of our lives.

For us, the idea of working with plastic responsibly is not a contradiction.

We want to invest in innovation, scientifically measure our work and adopt a supply chain approach that by actively involving all the players following the principle of interdependence, aims at minimizing negative impacts along the life cycles of our products.
